Women use cosmetics because they think it is a way to express themselves, using creative ideas to enhance their features or even to hide some features that aren’t particularly appealing. By wearing cosmetics some women feel they have more self-confidence.

Women often feel that they look very plain and unattractive without using cosmetics. Some women feel that extensive makeup treatments are necessary to get them to a state in which they can appear in public. They may also feel better about themselves if they simply highlight one or two areas, such as their eyes and eyebrows.
